Sangeeta Kumar Murthy is a well accomplished artist and researcher, who has received several Awards and
Honours for her contribution to Indian Art. She has done nine solo shows and participated in more than two
hundred group shows. She was in Triveni Kala Sangam for nine years under the guidance of the Creative
Genius Shri Rameshwar Broota. She has participated in six Charity Auctions such as Christies, to raise funds
for the underprivileged. She has received the Senior Fellowship Award from CCRT (Ministry of Culture) for the
period of two years (2018 to 2020). Prestigious Awards - Amrita Sher-Gil Rashtriya Kala Puraskar, Kala Ratan
Samman, Nari Sashaktikaran 2019 Artist Award, FACE International Women Leadership Award, Shri Shakti Nari
Pratibha Samman, Custodian of Art & Heritage Award, Naayaka Award, Delhi Star Award, are a few of them.

Sangeeta represented India in the Florence Biennale, Italy 2013, and also was part of the 8th South Korea India,
Contemporary Art Exchange, Seoul, in 2012. She was part of the artists’ delegation representing India for the
SAARC Meet, held at Colombo, Sri Lanka and she was the only artist selected from North India. In 2011, she was
invited by the Princess of Saudi Arabia to exhibit her works at National Museum, Riyadh. She was also invited
and was part of many prestigious Award Juries such as Kalidas Award for the year 2018 and 2019, Shikhar
Samman, for the year 2016, 2017 & 2018, NCERT All India Painting Competition Kala Utsav, 2018 & 2019. Her
works can be found in several corporate offices, and private collections.
