About the Artist

Renuka Sondhi Gulati’s oeuvre is art in motion. The fluidity of form in her sculptures, paintings, and installations merge reality with a mythical dimension. Gulati believes in experimenting and re-inventing herself. Her sculptures are strong in line and volume, whereas the paintings have a degree of fragility and poetry in equal measures. A National Senior Fellow from Ministry of Culture, she is a recipient of the AIFACS cash award in Digital Art in 2019 and the International Best Sculpture Award at the 9th Art Biennale, Malta 2011.

She also received The Gurugram Gaurav Samman in 2018. She has behind her 9 solo shows including her latest at Napa Valley, California, USA, and the Kalakriti Gallery, India and nearly 70 group shows and more than 16 workshops/camps. She has exhibited her work in galleries in both India and abroad, and is part of collections Rashtrapati Bhawan, Chandigarh Airport, Morni Hills Fort - Nature Museum and study center. Her Permanent art installations can be seen at Delhi Stations and
Public areas.
